Lazarus Theatre Announce Summer Season

image

Critically acclaimed Lazarus Theatre Company return in 2015 with their trademark fresh take on two epic classics as they stage their Summer of Empire! First they take a fresh look at Shakespeare’s Henry V with an all female cast before they give us their spin on Marlowe’s Tamburlaine The Great.

Ricky Dukes will direct and adapt both productions and two Lazarus favourites return to take the title roles. Colette O’Rourke will be leading her soldiers to Agincourt as Lazarus make their debut at The Union Theatre on June 30th, while Prince Plockey will play the Scythian shepherd turned emperor in Tamburlaine when the company return to the cosy Tristan Bates Theatre in August.
